Prodigy Camp

Prodigy Camp is a place for America's top 20 promising young filmmakers to develop every aspect of their craft. In one intensive week, you will be taught the secrets of screenwriting, directing and cinematography. And you will apply that knowledge, shooting and editing a short film.

Every summer, our Prodigy Camp accepts 15 students, ages 13 to 15 and 16 to 18. Camp is held at a private retreat in the Northwest for six days. Tuition for the session is $1,995. Apply now or contact us to learn more. Our next Prodigy Camp will run July 28 through August 2, 2008. Applications are due July 1, 2008.

In 2009 our Prodigy Camp will run June 21 through June 27. Application deadline for 2009 TBD.

Students stay at the camp supervised, professional filmmakers like Tom Skerritt teach there. They work on films most of the day, campfires and storytelling with filmmakers at night. They conceive, write, shoot and edit a 15-minute short in that one week.
