Michael Friedline | Senior Development Advisor
Michael Friedline, MBA, has more than 25 years of nonprofit management and fundraising experience serving in human service, international relief and development, cultural, and medical organizations. He is a proven team builder, strategic planner, and development executive who consults with regional organizations. Specialties include creating comprehensive development programs, major donor relations, direct mail creation, capital campaigns, and board development. Mr. Friedline lives in Shoreline with his wife Vicki and their three children.
 
Carole Cahill | Community Relations
A 2009 graduate of TheFilmSchool, Carole balances her life as a novelist and screenwriter with volunteer work in the community advocating for people with autism. She attended the University of Washington, majoring in English Literature with an emphasis in creative writing and studied under the international poet Tess Gallagher.

After college she married and raised two children, Mackenzie and Connor, while working in the airline industry where she appeared in television commercials and print ads. During this time she was active in fund raising through the arts for her children's schools, both in Washington and in Connecticut. Most recently she worked as an editor, columnist, and speech writer in marketing.

Carole enjoys painting, gardening, time with her family and friends and jogging with her whippet, Tracey. Dedicated to the art of storytelling and committed to the need for creativity in our daily lives, she'll strive through fund raising to help facilitate the continuance of those dreams for the TheFilmSchool.
 
Eric Morgret | Alumni Relations
Eric Morgret is a co-owner of Maelstrom Productions, LLC. He has directed and edited several film productions, including the award-winning feature "Strange Aeons" and the new short film "The Shunned House." He has also directed and edited short films, documentaries, and music videos. Current projects include producing the film "Tina Chop is God," about a rocker returning to Seattle in a vain hope to rekindle the magic of his original band, and "Walk Right In," a documentary about an experimental school at Yale University in the late sixties.

He is involved in several other ventures, including programming for Crypticon Seattle, the largest horror convention in the Pacific Northwest, and the inaugural season of the Maelstrom International Festival of Fantastic Films, a genre-based film festival. Eric is a graduate of TheFilmSchool and has spent several years presenting panels on filmmaking and general film discussions.
 
Jenni Boran | Marketing and Public Relations
Jenni Boran went from Set Decorating in Los Angeles ("How The Grinch Stole Christmas," "Bandits") to marketing a luxury home fragrance brand in Seattle to taking the step to choose a career in writing after attending TheFilmSchool. In addition to singing the praises of TheFilmSchool and letting everyone know about the life-changing experience that is TheFilmSchool 3-Week-Intensive, she stays up late with various freelance projects and gets up early with her beautiful son. She is an alumnus of TheFilmSchool, Spring 2008.
 
George Thomas Jr. | Web Guru
George Thomas Jr. is an award-winning filmmaker and screenwriter with a diverse professional background that includes print and broadcast journalism, online marketing, computer programming, salmon research and traditional Irish dance. He is a charter graduate of TheFilmSchool and also has studied acting, improv and directing. George also conducts screenwriting and filmmaking workshops, mentors developing screenwriters and publishes an e-mail newsletter with screenwriting tips, film critiques and more.
 
Chris Oliver | Intern
Chris Oliver graduated from the University of Washington's School of Business in 2006. After running into Instructor, Tom Skerritt, at a local Starbucks in Seattle, he decided to pursue his long-time aspiration of Producing films. Chris attended TheFilmSchool in the Summer of 2008, with the idea of learning the foundation of all successful films—a great story. With assistance from TheFilmSchool's mentorship program, he is now producing multiple film projects in the Seattle area.
