Give Today!

$5,000 supports a named sponsorship for an evening of conversation with a film industry leader and the public. Hosted at the Majestic Bay Theater in Ballard these events draw 250-500 people.

$3,000 will create a full scholarship for a qualified and aspiring young film maker to the Three-Week Intensive -- over 150 hours of small group training taught by experienced and professional faculty such as Actor Tom Skerritt and Screenwriter, Stewart Stern. Be a part of starting the career of the next Coppola or Scorsese.

$2,500 supports a named sponsorship for an evening reading by professional actors of a new film script. This takes place at the ACT Theater in Seattle and there is room for 100 guests.

$1,000 sponsors one prescreening for an Academy nominated film at the historic Majestic Bay Theater in Ballard. Sponsors can bring 100 guests and are recognized at the event and on publicity materials about the event.

$500 funds a scholarship for one low income high school student to participate in TheFilmSchool’s summer Prodigy Camp; a week long leadership camp focused on creating and producing an original film.

Our Campaign for the Future

TheFilmSchool's new offices, classrooms, theatre and library will break ground in 2010.

In partnership with the Seattle International Film Festival, we have an opportunity to move TheFilmSchool to a permanent new home at the Seattle Center in 2011. This will include new offices, classroom space and use of a state-of-the-art theater. In January of 2010 we initiated a five year $600,000 campaign to cover the costs of building out this space, purchasing new equipment, and covering our operating costs through 2014.

We invite you to be a part of this dream by making a one-time gift or a five year pledge to the Campaign for the Future. Become one of our “Executive Producers” part of the inner circle of benefactors committed to discovering new talent, training a new generation of film makers, and ultimately creating new films that lead with great and enduring stories about who we are and who we want to become.
